After being asked to open a location in the bustling Rodney Bay Village by numerous clientele of his well established and highly acclaimed Coal Pot Restaurant, Chef Xavier has finally done it. In the heart of St. Lucia’s restaurant district, his clientele eagerly welcome Chef Xavier & Wine Bar which is located upstairs in The Baywalk Shopping Mall opposite The Treasure Bay Casino. This restaurant offers something for every diner with a casual terrace, overlooking the main street in Rodney Bay, as well as an air conditioned fine dining room. Don’t worry if you want something more cozy and romantic, their beautifully designed bar is just the place to enjoy tapas with a glass of wine. Their extensive wine list with 150 wines, of which 35 are served by the glass, was created with expertise by Chef Xavier’s partner, Bruno Galon. On the menu, you will not only find all the dishes that made The Coal Pot successful for more than fifteen years with the freshest fish, enticing mussels and tender steaks but, you will also find a larger selection of succulent pasta dishes as well as scrumptious salads.

Red ants at Blue Olive - and not on the manu
Always a great meal…
My second visit, can't wait for the third.

Great food! Great service!
Lots of fun!
Chef Xavier had the perfect location for me and my girlfriends. We were shopping at Baywalk Shopping mall and came across Chef Xavier Restaurant and Wine Bar. We created our own wine tasting party. They offer a lot of wines and many of them can be served by the glass. Let’s just say we went through quite a bit of glasses. By the end, each of us selected two favorites for our next visit. The price was not too bad either. We had enough left over to visit the Casino directly across from Chef Xavier.
A fantastic restaurant
This is a fantastic restaurant with the most exquisite food ever. We had been shopping in the mall and found this restaurant upstairs. We had only intended to stay for a couple of refreshing drinks, but the smell coming from the kitchen area was so tempting, we stayed and had a fantastic meal. We returned here a couple of times after that too. The first time we went there we didn’t know that Chef Xavier was connected to the Coal Pot Restaurant where we had been a few days earlier.
Fantastic food, fine wine and wonderful service.
